Beeeeeeert Case is from my local news channel(WLBT), this video made the news the week of some pit bull fighting cases were in court. Bert was canvasing neighborhoods to report on aggressive strays, and he sure found one!

The pit that attacks him was put down later i think, but it was amazing he manged to scare the dog away cause it was out for blood... it got really close to catching skin a few times thankfully never got him, or he would likely have been eaten.

The video only shows a tiny snippit of the full encounter!

Watching these videos reminds me of a moment I saw live on WGN (Chicago)during a daytime report.

A woman was standing on the sidewalk across the street from an orphanage (I believe) and reporting on a story involving something that had happened there. Everything was going fine 'til there was a screech and a car came rolling through the shot. Just as the reporter turned her head to see what was going on, the vehicle hit her and knocked her out of sight of the camera.

They switched to the newsroom feed and the two anchors were shown more or less just sitting there with their mouths open out of shock at what they had just seen.

I watched the rest of the show to see if she was alright. Turned out, she had broken her leg.
