Did this in a training last week. Found it interesting and will spark some debate.

The Alligator River Story

There lived a woman named Abigail who was in love with a man named
Gregory. Gregory lived on the shore of a river. Abigail lived on the
opposite shore of the same river. The river that separated the two lovers
was teeming with dangerous alligators. Abigail wanted to cross the river
to be with Gregory. Unfortunately, the bridge had been washed out by a
heavy flood the previous week. So she went to ask Sinbad, a riverboat
captain, to take her across. He said he would be glad to if she would
consent to go to bed with him prior to the voyage. She promptly refused
and went to a friend named Ivan to explain her plight. Ivan did not want
to get involved at all in the situation. Abigail felt her only
alternative was to accept Sinbad's terms. Sinbad fulfilled his promise to
Abigail and delivered her into the arms of Gregory.

When Abigail told Gregory about her amorous escapade in order to cross the
river, Gregory cast her aside with disdain. Heartsick and rejected,
Abigail turned to Slug with her tale of woe. Slug, feeling compassion for
Abigail, sought out Gregory and beat him brutally. Abigail was overjoyed
at the sight of Gregory getting his due. As the sun set on the horizon,
people heard Abigail laughing at Gregory.

There's no right answer of course.

I picked abigail first because she slept with another man, then after being dumped, didn't stop Slug from beating greg and then she laughed at him.

Slug second because he brutally beat a man just because he dumped someone.

Sinbad third because he's a dirty old man, but in his defense, doesn't owe anyone anything.

Gregory next because he does have the right to end their relationship for any reason he wants.

Ivan last because he just wanted to stay out of relationship troubles.

Abigail is a dirty, vindictive whore who loves vicarious revenge.
Slug is just a mean guy who looks for an excuse to beat someone up.

Note about the day I had to do this:

There were 5 guys including the trainer and 3 women.

4 of us guys had identical lists, the other guy had 2 swapped that were next to each other.

The 3 women had completely different lists.

We were supposed to come up with a list that everyone could live with and get it to him in 10 mins.
After 13 mins of pleading with an old lady to just live with the list we made, she finally gave in after having a fit.
We failed the exercise because the old woman wouldnt just say that Abigail was the worst character.

Sinbad instigated an unfortunate situation. Abigail would be #2 for sleeping with him, but is close to #1 for laughing at Gregory's beating. She could have found other options than to ask everyone for help, then take the quickest solution. Slug beat up a man for no good reason. Ivan could have helped, but did not, but did not cause direct harm. Not nice, but it's not

Gregory may or may not love Abigail. As far as we know, she only loves him. So, this crazy woman comes to him saying she loves him, then that she slept with a dirty old man to get to him. I'd ditch her weird ass too.

And the thing is, the wait to see each other may have only been a few days. Is what Abigail did necessary?

Well what I put on my list is waht I think is right.

However, I could see Slug as number one, depending on how you define brutally beat. 

Ivan totally sucks. He could have prevented all this by, like, building a boat. #1
