Alright, here's my (soon to be) failed attempt at opening up a new thread. Feel free to ask those questions you'd be afraid to ask your black friends in real life, for fear that they'd shank you.
How do you make a shank, anyway?
And how do you carry a razorblade in your cheek?
I always wanted to know the answer to those.
And how do you carry a razorblade in your cheek?

Is it actually bigger, on average?
so..you know half the questions in here gonna be
why is it okay for you to say the N word and not for me to say it??
why is it okay for you to say the N word and not for me to say it??

why don't black people smile in pictures?
why don't black people smile in pictures?
Why do so many well educated black folks have terrible grammar?
It drives me insane when I deal with people who are obviously so very smart, but I can't understand 3 words they say.

why do black people smoke menthol cigarettes?
Why do black people put up with the pseudo racism they deal with all the time?
I hate smiling in pictures. I don't know why, I think it's because my teeth were crooked when I was little, and I do it out of habit now.
I worry that I might look stupid. :/

Why do black people like blunts?
Bongs are a much cleaner smoke.

why do white people understand a brother like myself?
What's the proper term to use when referring to a person based on their skin color? I mean, I can't say cuz someone's darkskinned that they're African American. What if they're from Jamaica or some shit? Is it aceptable for a white kid to say, "You know Leny, he's the black kid that works in accounting."

Although I am as white as they come, i'll give this one a shot.
Ebonics is just another dialect. Although its more of a broken english type thing than anything else, it's still a different language, for the most part.
Would you get mad at an arab guy because you couldnt understand him?
Same thing, except arabic isnt based on english. Ebonics is, so it misleads you into thinking you should be able to understand it all.
They actually require teachers in oregon to take ebonics classes before they can get their teaching cert.
Do you feel that you personally have ties to Africa?
I'm a bit curious. I'm English-American, ancestrally speaking,
But I don't feel very English. I'm American.
I imagine a lot of "African-Americans" are similarly estranged from their homeland,
But they just can't think of a better term to use.
I remember my History teacher used to get annoyed when people would call him "African-American,"
Because his ancestry was Canadian, and before that they were French. It's rather racist, when you think about it,
To assume that someone is African-American just because of the color of their skin.
Or perhaps some of them just keep more of a hold onto their ancestry than I have...
If you go back far enough, we're ALL African-Americans.
/there's a question in there somewhere,
//but feel free to just respond in general if you like

why is it that black people complain that Febuary( black history month) is the shortest month.
Do black people think its fair that on a EOE application there is no section for
Italian Americans
Irish Americans
ect,
but there is for Asian and Hispanic and black
and there is no "mixed" section either. i find that to be unfir to both partys

why dont black people go to the beach?
and is used in a similar way gay people call each other "fags"
Bwahahah...just because I do it doesn't mean most gays do it!
I've been glared at often when I used that word in gay company,
Even when they knew I was gay too...
I don't think it's all that acceptable.

Well, I for one can't swim.
Does this go back to the hair? Think its a weight proportion thing? Or possibly, aero/hydrodynamics?
black people actually dont complain about it
they joke about it
and it actually is pretty funny and coincidental
its just white people that dont know any black people at all think they're serious when they say "why we gotta get the shortest month"
and here is why black history month is actually in february

Why do all black people automatically assume that all white people are racist?

among the gay communities in the DC area, they call each other a lot worse than just "fag" fairly often.
Every other month is white history month.
very racist comment
I belive that May is Asian American Month
They actually require teachers in oregon to take ebonics classes before they can get their teaching cert.
That's bullshit.
In newspapers, the AP Stylebook (bible among editors) says to use "black," not African American unless they're from Africa.
The term "African-American" pisses me off on forms. I'm not from Africa. I don't know where my family is from, It's not that important. They don't label white people "European-American", so why should I be African-American? I'm black. I don't know anyone from Africa, except the girl in my classes from Cameroon. I've never met a relative that's African, and as far as I'm aware, I don't have any, unless they're terribly distant.
the hair?
I got weave today. Purple and black, because I love purple, and everyone else has red.
I'm trying to grow my hair longer, so I can do a bit more with it. Until recently it was in the "I'm insane!"-fro.

Why do black people put up with the pseudo racism they deal with all the time?
And the real reason would be: the people who do get offended, actually knows what the fuck is going on. The people who don't get offended are oreos. Period.

Seriously.
Seems like many of the black people that I meet in this city automatically assume that I'm a racist until I get talking to them.
We're not all asshole honky racists here...
", so why should I be African-American? I'm black American
thats what it should read

Though, isn't is already racists that we feel the need to have a month for black history, instead of viewing it as part of the regular American culture?
I hate Black History Month.
It always seems to me that black people are the first to yell discrimination/we deserve something extra because we're black, but then complain that "everyone should be treated the same".
Pisses me the bejeebus off.

heh you're making an assumption with this question as well arn't you?
why do ALL black people? assume ALL white people?
i guess its the law of averages in work
thats what it should read
True. But when I'm referring to skin color references, it's black.
Someone asks what my nationality is, I tell them American.
"so ur white?"
...
BHM seems as silly to me as Affirmative Action. Aren't we past this stuff yet?
"so ur white?"
Actually i am ... tan. sometimes darker then most hispanics or light skinned black people. but at the moment, i would say. light tan
what do black people think about indians?
be honest
be honest
And how do you carry a razorblade in your cheek?
to get one into the prison, I would assume it would takea small superficial incision, where you slide the razor balde in, ect. Another method would be to develop callouses on the inside of your cheeks. The most likely way is to use dental was to cover the edges while it is in your mouth.
Affirmative Action
actualy this works for all races
